S5: Your idea to damage boost yourself and gain speed to do the jump off the donut island works like a damn. You can hug the walls on the left side a little bit, but sometimes they slow you down more than they speed you up, so be careful = D

S4: I've jumped all the way to the corner in this little tunnel in Xen, but this did the trick. You take hits, but nothing to worry about since armor is all over the next few areas. S3: A faster way to get past the headcrabs in the vent. I'm probably gonna attempt a single segment later on. I'm upgrading to Steam soon I believe, so I'll obviously do some demos in Steam =P I suspect this burst in goodness will disappate soon = DĮDIT: Both in v.1.1.1.0, by the way. Oh yeah, and I seem to be bunnyhopping faster than I ever could in Blue-Shift for some reason. Blue-Shift IS pretty closed off, so I doubt I'll have success with the skybox, but I can always look for stuff.īy the way, I tried to "use" Barney through the door at the beginning of the game, but to no avail. I'm positive there's a skybox we haven't abused in Xen, and I'm positive there's a glitch somewhere in Power Struggle we aren't abusing. I'm gonna go look through Power Struggle later this evening, and Xen. Just a little something you're probably already aware of =P Usually I like to go right through the hole, jump once, then you can get a nice speed boost off the mini-ramp, and go straight to the door. Not the best of performances, but whatever. This is my route to the switch in Duty Calls. That would be something to take note of =O I remember you mentioned something a long time ago Dark, about using a houndeye to get up to the big box by the crane, then curving around it to the ladder.

I got out of the elevator sure, but no skipping =( I tried for a long while, but I couldn't do it. My initial thinking on the matter was after the load zone, you could spawn far away from the elevator, or atleast skip that frozen sequence. When you get down to the boxes and such, I think you can find one there to push and gain a little extra ground.Īs for the elevator, I tried for awhile to pull a "out of We've Got Hostiles" on it, but to no avail. There's a little ramp leading out to where a tram should technically be, and I always bunnyhopped a little onto that, then curved around through the bars. Pretty useful.Īlso, before the tram part, there's a window that acxy said you could shoot out and bunnyhop through to save a little time. There was also using the secondary pistol fire on the window, and bunnyhopping into it while you're shooting, and jumping over the lobby as soon as it breaks. I mentioned a long time ago that you could jump over the railing, grab the armor and helmet with a curve, and keep your speed all the way to the elevator.
